As a professional ultramarathon athlete, Kevin Lin has challenged himself in some of the most hostile environments on the planet and distinguished himself as one of the best by winning Racing the Planet's 4 Deserts challenge. Touched by the blessings and support of people around the world, Kevin believes that the best way for him to return the kindness the Earth has offered him will be by igniting within others a passion for and awareness of the need to live sustainably on Earth.

In 2011, Kevin has decided to conquer the Silk Road. In doing so he will challenge himself to run its about 10,000 km in just 150 days. The Home Expedition invites you to join Kevin on the final stretch of his journey from Lanzhou to Xian, China.

Bai Bin is an experienced runner and adventure racer who has completed a 50-day marathon from Guiyang (Guizhou) to Lhasa (Tibet) in 2000. He was the first-placed Chinese runner for a 100km race in Beijing in 2010. Age 40. 

Chen Jun is a long distance runner who completed an 18 day solo ultra-run in 2010 to encourage more Chinese to adopt low-carbon lifestyles. Age 26. Speaks English. 

Jodi Bloomer was one of the youngest ever participants in the Gobi March and Atacama crossings. Jodi is also a sports scholar (rowing) and competed in the Dubai Adventure Challenge. Age 24.
