Kevin and Bai Bin are running between Guazhou (windy city) and Bulongji. It is living up to its reputation and the runners have a strong headwind to contend with. Qiliang mountains are on the right in the distance and provide the best scenery so far encountered in Gansu. The guys covered 73km yesterday (Wednesday 17th) and plan to do another 70km today. With the windy conditions, that will be another very strong performance if the afternoon goes well.

Team stayed in Guazhou Sports Centre yesterday and various members showed off their sporting abilities. Liu Yan is the current ping pong champion. Badminton honours went to Hong Po, despite having an x ray earlier in the day which showed he has cracked two fingers as a result of his bike accident. Joe has cast his left hand and the cracks are already well set so no concerns from the doctor.
